The Club has been asked to provide safety cover for the one mile swim between The Butterfly Bridge and The Town Bridge. Chas is looking for 12 paddlers in kayaks with a minimum of 2 star award to help out.
It does involve an early start of about 7.00am for the safety briefing by the race organisers, with an expected finish time of about midday.
This is a high profile national competition, which is going to raise some monies for the Club, so please support this if you can.
